A versatile, multi-purpose clamp and rail system that uses easy to install cast iron fittings.
Also known as keyclamp, kee clamp or alvin key clamp, our system is called Quickclamp. Ideal for a wide range of uses in retail, industry, education and domestic properties. The main feature of the system is it is easy to build and requires no welding, glue or special tools. A simple hex key is all that is needed to securely connect the different design clamps onto connecting railings. By being simple to install, it saves time and costs on design, planning and labour compared to custom-made handrail solutions.
Key Clamp – More Than Just Handrails
Whilst used primarily to construct a safety handrail systems and balustrades, QuickClamp also has many other uses such as barriers around car parks, waterways, shopping centres as well as providing support structures for canopies. It can even be used to construct furniture, such as key clamp tables, chairs, clothing rails and shelves. The ability to paint the clamps and rails means that with a little clever thinking, there are an wide range of uses for the system outside of traditional applications.
A Modular Handrail System
The modular key clamp fittings of the Kee Clamp system ensure that an effective handrail system can be constructed, even on sloped ground or steps. Galvanised handrail tubes are available in 3.2m or 6.4m lengths and can be combined with an extensive range of connectors and base plates. We would point out that the chosen size / combination for any application remains completely the responsibility of the customer and any dead and imposed loads applied must be taken into consideration when designing an installation.
Quickclamp Handrail Finish And Standards
All tube clamp fittings are hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO1461 and tubing is galvanised to BS1387 providing long lasting resistance to corrosion. Powder Coat finishes to standard RAL colours are available on request.

A 90º joint between the vertical tube and the horizontal. For connecting the mid-rail to the inter posts. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
125 – 90° Elbow
A 90º joint between the vertical tube and the horizontal. For connecting the mid-rail to the inter posts. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
128 – Three Way 90° Elbow
A 90º corner with a vertical tube. For connecting two top-rails on a 90º corner with a vertical tube. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
129 – Two Socket Cross
A 30º- 60º tee connection between two tubes. For joining the top-rail at an angle of between 30º- 60º to an inter post. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
130 – 30° to 45° Adjustable Cross
A 30º- 45º two socket cross connection between two tubes. To join the mid-rail at an angle of between 30º- 45º to an inter post. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
131 – Base Flange
To terminate a tube into a wall or similar. Please note: Not suitable for use as a base plate for the hand railing system. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
132 – Railing Base Flange
For use as a base plate for a hand railing system. Please note: Must always be positioned with the holes across the line of the railing for strength. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
133 – Plastic End Cap
For terminating a length of tubing. Supplied in grey. Available in sizes C & D.
134 – Ground Socket
For use as a dig-in plate for a hand railing system. Cast into concrete and set flush with the ground. The vertical tube is held in place with the grubscrew but can be easily removed. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
135 – Clamp On Tee
For use in adding additional supports to an existing structure without the need of dismantling. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
138 – Gate Eye
Female fitting of a two part gate hinge set. Can be secured in any position on a vertical tube. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
140 – Gate Hinge

143 – Handrail Bracket

144 – Structural Side Support
Structural off-set side support for securing handrailing to walls, steps, etc. The tube is unable to pass through this fitting helping to add strength to the structure. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
145 – Non-Structural Side Support

146 – Structural Side Palm Fixing

147 – Internal Swivel Tee
Used with other fittings within the Quickclamp handrailing range this fitting creates a 360° swivel joint. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
148 – Short Swivel Tee

149 – External Sleeve Joint

170 – Single Sided Mesh Clip
Allows mesh panels to be secured to one side of a vertical or horizontal tube. Supplied with M6 x 30mm long bolt and nut. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
171 – Double Sided Mesh Clip
Allows mesh panels to be secured to either side of a vertical or horizontal tube. Supplied with M6 x 30mm long bolts and nuts. Supplied in galvanised finish. Available in sizes C & D.
173 – Single Swivel Socket
Single swivel combination. The swivel has a travel of approximately 85º from the horizontal in both vertical directions. Please Note: An entire structure should not be constructed from swivel fittings alone, as these would not provide sufficient stability or rigidity in the structure due to the free rotation of the fitting. 176 – Side Outlet Tee
